Bar Team Member

Description:

As a key member of our Bar Team, you'll be on the front line of creating exceptional Guest experiences, ensuring their time at Dave & Buster's is fun and enjoyable. This role requires strong communication skills and a friendly, outgoing personality as you prepare beverages and interact directly with our valued Guests.

Nitty Gritty Details:

  • Consistently provide outstanding Guest service by delivering a fantastic combination of drinks, food, and entertainment in an atmosphere designed for maximum enjoyment.
  • Keep your immediate supervisor informed of any issues or significant unusual events, taking prompt corrective action or suggesting alternative solutions.
  • Provide quick and efficient beverage service while effectively managing wait times and communicating necessary information to Guests, fellow Team Members, and Managers.
  • Greet Guests with a warm and welcoming attitude while handling various job responsibilities. Smile and acknowledge Guests as they arrive.
  • Assist Guests with their drink selections, answer their questions knowledgeably, and offer helpful recommendations.
  • Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately and efficiently according to established recipes and company standards.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked bar area, ensuring all supplies are readily available for service.
  • Handle cash and credit card transactions with accuracy and integrity.
  • Verify the identification of Guests to ensure they meet the minimum legal age requirements for alcohol consumption.
  • Monitor Guest alcohol consumption and intervene responsibly when necessary, adhering to company policies and legal regulations.
  • Bid farewell to departing Guests, ensuring their satisfaction and inviting them to return for more fun.
  • Inform the Manager of any Guest who appears unhappy or expresses a complaint.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures related to the responsible service of alcohol.
  • Assist in the stocking and maintenance of bar inventory levels.
  • Clean and sanitize glassware, bar tools, and work surfaces on a regular basis.
  • Work collaboratively with other Team Members to ensure smooth and efficient service throughout the entire venue.
  • Maintain a positive and cooperative working relationship with all company Team Members to contribute to a harmonious and productive work environment.
  • Must meet the minimum legal age requirement for serving alcoholic beverages in the relevant jurisdiction.

  • Read and understand handwritten or printed orders and instructions accurately.

  • Walk or stand for the duration of the work shift.
  • Reach, bend, stoop, and wipe down surfaces frequently to maintain cleanliness.
