Business Development Executive

Key Responsibilities

● Make a minimum of 125 outbound calls and 50 cold emails per week

● Schedule and conduct 15+ meetings per month with prospective clients.

● Learn and consistently use NutShell CRM for lead tracking, notes, and sales documentation.

● Qualify opportunities from inbound marketing efforts and Discovery Calls via Abstrakt Marketing.

● Develop a working knowledge of AttendStar’s services, with support from the team during complex calls or follow-ups.

● Draft and submit RFP responses for air shows and other event opportunities, reviewed by leadership.

● Ensure AttendStar is registered to receive eligible RFP notifications.

● Track and grow your sales pipeline, meeting or exceeding a minimum annual event

revenue goal of $260,000 for new accounts and businesses.

● Attend the ICAS Convention each December and be available for optional onsite event support with advance notice.

● Maintain an up-to-date calendar and complete all sales activity during in-office hours.

Job Requirements

● 1–3 years of experience in sales, business development, or lead generation (event or

entertainment industry preferred)

● Confident communicator comfortable with outbound phone/email outreach and following scripts when needed

● Tech-savvy with ability to learn CRM and ticketing systems (NutShell and proprietary tools)

● Professional written and verbal communication skills

● Organized and self-motivated with strong time management

● Must be a U.S. citizen or have a valid U.S. work visa (no sponsorship provided)

● Must have a valid U.S. driver’s license and clean driving record

● Must work full-time in the Smyrna, TN office

Desired Skills

● Experience preparing or responding to RFPs

● Prior exposure to air shows, fairs, or municipal events

● Comfortable working independently in a high-activity, structured sales environment

● Adaptability to learn technical aspects of ticketing, marketing, and logistics
