CDL Class A Driver - High Five Logistics LLC ID - 1036

About the position

High Five Logistics is seeking motivated and professional Class A CDL drivers for local and regional routes. As an Amazon Freight Partner, we provide the benefits of a large business while maintaining the culture of a small one. Our drivers will have the opportunity to work with brand new CNG Day Cabs and Diesel Sleeper Cabs, outfitted with state-of-the-art safety technology and logistics software. This position offers a consistent schedule, with local drivers working 3 days on and 4 days off, while regional drivers will work 4 days on and 4 days off. The starting hourly rate is $23.50, with local routes earning between $50,000 - $52,000 and regional routes earning between $68,000 - $75,000 per year, depending on full-time work and safety bonuses. Our facilities are based in Phoenix, AZ, and all routes will begin and end at our yard, with all loads being drop and hook. The regional routes average 700-1,000 miles per 4-day block, and drivers will have the opportunity for consistent work based on our partnership with Amazon. In addition to hourly pay, drivers can earn quarterly safety and performance bonuses, as well as referral bonuses. We offer health insurance programs, participation in a 401(k) program with employer matching, and paid time off (PTO) accrued at a rate of 4% of hours worked. This is a full-time position averaging 48 hours per week throughout the year, with weekly pay and direct deposit options available.

Responsibilities

  • Drive Class A trucks for local and regional routes.
  • Ensure timely and safe delivery of freight.
  • Complete all necessary paperwork and reports accurately.
  • Maintain a clean driving record and adhere to all traffic laws.
  • Utilize GPS and other technology for navigation and reporting.
  • Participate in safety and performance bonus programs.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years old.
  • Minimum of 6 months of verifiable Class A driving experience.
  • Valid Class A Commercial Driver License (CDL).
  • Ability to speak, read, and write in English.
  • No current CDL suspension or past revocations.
  • Clean driving record required.
  • Must pass a DOT physical, drug test, and background check.
  • Ability to learn and operate GPS-enabled software and hardware.
  • Familiarity with handheld technology and smartphone applications.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with drop and hook deliveries.
  • Familiarity with Amazon logistics software.
