Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced drywall estimator to assist with project takeoffs on a freelance, remote basis. This is a part-time need ideal for someone who is detail-oriented and has a strong background in drywall estimating.
Responsibilities
- Review bid documents to identify scopes of work that align with company capabilities.
- Perform accurate takeoffs for drywall and related project elements.
- Enter takeoff data into company-provided spreadsheets.
- Submit completed takeoffs to our internal team for pricing analysis and proposal preparation.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a drywall estimator (required).
- Strong knowledge of drywall construction methods, materials, and takeoff procedures.
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.
- Proficiency with digital takeoff tools and spreadsheets.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Hours & Compensation
- Part-time / negotiate hourly rate
- Flexible remote work schedule
