What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Operate one or more types of moderately heavy motor equipment, including street sweepers
- Perform various manual tasks related to equipment operation
- Maintain compliance with safety regulations and operational standards
- Ensure proper care and maintenance of equipment used
- Assist in the completion of projects within designated jurisdictions

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Completion of at least the eighth grade; high school graduation or GED preferred
- Minimum of one year of experience operating Equipment Operator II level equipment
- Must possess a valid commercial driver's license for the type of equipment operated
- Ability to demonstrate skill in the operation of heavy motor equipment
- Must meet established medical and physical standards for the class of work

- Knowledge of safety regulations and maintenance practices for heavy equipment
- Previous work in municipal services or public works
