Job Summary

As a Manager, Application Support (SAP BRIM), you will be responsible for leading a team of application support professionals to deliver 24x7 user and technical support services. You will partner with business stakeholders, solution architects, and multiple vendors to identify opportunities for improved customer service, increased agility, and availability. Your expertise in SAP BRIM and application support will be instrumental in driving the development and implementation of new services, managing performance against contractual terms, and ensuring the operationalization of Service Operations, Knowledge Management, Continuous Improvement, Service Level, and Availability Management across the team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a team of application support professionals to deliver high-quality, timely, and effective support services to users across the globe.
  • Partner with business stakeholders, solution architects, and vendors to identify opportunities for improved customer service, increased agility, and availability.
  • Develop and implement an agile-based request management workflow focused on maximizing velocity, improving quality, and reducing backlog.
  • Manage the application development lifecycle to ensure quality and timely resolution of application defects/problems and enhancement requests.
  • Ensure the operationalization of Service Operations, Knowledge Management, Continuous Improvement, Service Level, and Availability Management across the team.
  • Develop and guide direct reports by providing career path conversations and mentoring, helping them achieve their goals through effective development and training plans.
  • Collaborate with multiple vendors/partners to deliver existing services against Key Performance Indicators, managing performance against contractual terms, and identifying new or rationalizing existing services.

Essential Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in application support, preferably in SAP BRIM or similar technology.
  • Proven leadership and management experience in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Strong technical skills in SAP BRIM, application support, and problem-solving.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work in a remote environment and collaborate with global teams.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • ITIL or similar service management certification.
  • Experience with agile methodologies and request management workflows.
  • Familiarity with Disney's technology stack and architecture.
  • Experience in managing vendors and partners.
