About the position
Wells Fargo is seeking an Associate Personal Banker (SAFE) for our National Branch Network as part of the Consumer, Small & Business Banking division. This role is pivotal in delivering exceptional customer experiences by building relationships through proactive outreach and proposing appropriate products, services, and digital solutions to help customers succeed financially. The Associate Personal Banker will assist customers with basic requests related to opening new accounts, completing service requests, and submitting credit applications. This position requires a strong understanding of bank products and services to effectively connect with customers' needs and provide them with appropriate options. In this role, you will receive direction from managers and exercise judgment within defined policies and procedures. You will interact with customers to demonstrate care and build relationships, ensuring that their financial needs are met. Additionally, you will refer customers' financial needs to other bankers and partners as necessary. This SAFE position involves customer contact and job duties that may include offering or negotiating terms and/or taking applications for dwelling secured transactions. Therefore, compliance with the S.A.F.E. Mortgage Licensing Act of 2008 and all related regulations is required. Ongoing employment is contingent upon meeting all such requirements, including acceptable background investigation results. Individuals in a SAFE position must also meet the Loan Originator requirements under Regulation Z as outlined in the job expectations.

Requirements
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with customers.
- Ability to understand and connect bank products and services to customer needs.
- Experience in customer service or sales roles is preferred.
- Knowledge of financial products and services is a plus.
