Summary

As a QA Game Tester at GlobalStep, you will identify and report defects in Flight Simulator software, construct concise and consistent defect reports, and communicate major issues to the Test Lead. You will verify fixes, share knowledge with the team, and adapt to changes in a dynamic environment. The role requires good knowledge of piloting and flight simulators, strong communication and organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure. This role is based in Dallas and involves testing Flight Simulation software. The selected candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality of flight simulator software by identifying and reporting bugs, communicating with team members, and verifying solutions.

Must Have

• Knowledge of piloting, aircraft and flight simulator software
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
• Strong organization and time management skills
• Broad schedule availability
• Excellent attention to detail
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Team player mentality
• Basic knowledge of MS Office Suite programs
• Passion for video games

Good To Have

• Fixed wing or rotor wing pilot’s license
• Experience in games testing

Due to continued expansion, GlobalStep is looking for a QA Game Testers to test Flight Simulation software in our Dallas based test center.

• Communicate with Test Lead throughout the day highlighting major issues or concerns immediately
• Efficiently verify potential fixes to highlighted issues

• Be flexible and agile as necessary to adapt to changes in a quickly evolving environment

Requirements:

• Good knowledge of piloting, aircraft and flight simulator software
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
• Strong organization skills and the ability to manage time effectively
• Broad schedule availability
• Excellent attention to detail
• Ability to work under pressure within tight deadlines
• Team player mentality
• Basic knowledge of MS Office Suite programs (or equivalent)
• Passion for video games
• No testing experience required

Nice-to-haves:

• Fixed wing or rotor wing pilot’s license
• Experience in games testing

Experience with bug tracking software (JIRA, Bugzilla, TestRail, etc)
