[Remote] Azure DevOps System Engineer (Biceps & Terraform Experience) - REMOTE

They are seeking an Azure Senior System Engineer to join their DevOps Product Team responsible for maintaining a live product and delivering new project work. The role involves managing project pipelines, certificate management, and performance oversight while ensuring high availability and security of the product.


Responsibilities

  • Performance oversight
  • Proactively identify required tasks
  • Assess priorities and recommend order of tasks
  • Translate high-level objectives into detailed technical work
  • Define and organize the work breakdown

Skills

  • Must have ARM and Bicep and Terraform
  • Must have Power Shell
  • Must have AppInsights
  • Assist developers in deploying pipelines, have working knowledge of Azure landing zones and how to set up workloads.
  • Experience with set/troubleshoot security mechanisms like mTLS, work well in ADO
  • Experience with deploying via pipeline to a Saas product using terraform
  • Troubleshooting with OLB system engineers (essentially become best friends with Gene!)
  • Common components like the AuthBridge, which is hosted on OLB UI but talks to Ping
  • What kind of implementation did you use Terraform on?
  • What were you using Terraform to deploy Azure resources or SaaS products?
  • Explain the landing zone concept you were using Terraform to deploy?
  • Have you used Pipelines to deploy to a SAAS product?
  • Have you had to automate certificate management? Is that something you implemented?
  • Familiarity with IAM and user authentication is a bonus
